App basics

Recipes — updated when we release a new version of the app.
Vault & shopping list — stored on your device in the current version (not on our servers).
Units — switch metric / US customary under Account in the app.
Safety warnings — in the app under the red Warnings – Safety First banner (and Tools).

Safety reminder

Low-acid foods must be processed in a pressure canner — never use a water bath, as it will not destroy botulism spores. Recipes marked USDA Tested have been officially validated for safety, while community and shared recipes have not. Always follow instructions exactly, use caution with non-USDA recipes, and exercise your own judgment. PreserveVault accepts no responsibility for any issues that may arise from recipe use.
